VIS grateful for the Adirondack Artists’ Guild
To the editor:
The Village Improvement Society of Saranac Lake extends sincere thanks to the talented members of the Adirondack Artists’ Guild for choosing VIS as the beneficiary of this year’s Art Exhibit & Silent Auction, “Arts and Flowers,” that runs through March 3. On Feb. 1, VIS members and Guild artists teamed up for the show’s opening. Guild artists have donated original works of art – all themed around flowers – to be auctioned off all month long with proceeds going to the VIS. We are so fortunate to have the support and creative talents of the Guild behind us.
VIS volunteers provided a wonderful spread to kick off the art auction festivities. Special thanks go to Phil Leonidas, Compass Printing Plus and Scott’s Florist for their contributions to the reception. Many thanks also to VIS supporters and patrons of the Artists’ Guild who keep bidding on artwork that will beautify their homes while also benefiting our cause – to beautify the village of Saranac Lake.
If you missed the opening, do stop by the Guild by Feb. 28 and place a bid on your favorite work of art!
