ORDA to host 2013 Lake Placid Winter Ice Revue Saturday

LAKE PLACID – In the grand tradition of Lake Placid figure skating history of spectacular skating shows dating back to 1932, the Olympic Regional Development Authority will host the 2013 Lake Placid Ice Revue this Saturday, Feb. 16, in the famed 1980 Herb Brooks Arena.

Ryan Bradley, 2011 U.S. Champion and 2009 Skate America bronze medalist will be returning to Lake Placid after performing with the famed 2013 Stars on Ice tour.

On the heels of her silver medal, 2012 U.S. National Junior Silver Champion Ashley Cain will also be making a special guest appearance during the night’s performance. Known for their superb ice dance choreography, two-time U.S. National bronze medalists and 2008 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships bronze medalists, Kim Navarro and Brent Bommentre, who recently made an appearance in the “White Christmas” episode on the popular television series Glee will also be enjoying the spotlight in Saturday night’s review.

Joining the award-winning skaters with special performances will be select members of the award-winning U.S. Intercollegiate Champion Dartmouth Figure Skating Team, along with the national and international competitive theatrical skating troupe, the Vermont Children’s Theater on Ice.

Showtime is set to begin at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for the Lake Placid Ice Revue are on sale now at the Olympic Center box office, and be purchased in person or by calling 518-523-3330. Ticket prices for adults are $25, while juniors and seniors are $15.

Family four-pack tickets are also available at $65 per package.
