Bruce W. Andersson

Loving husband, father, brother and friend, Bruce W. Andersson, passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, in Stevenson Ranch, Calif.

Bruce was born in Brooklyn on Oct. 1, 1949, the son of Gosta (Gus) and Eva B. (Clark) Andersson, and grew up in Upper Jay. He was a pre-Olympic downhill skier and avid speedskater. He graduated from Keene Central School and then from Hudson Valley College and married Charlene Keleshian.

Bruce loved and took pride in his work as a commercial contractor. He was greatly admired for his expertise in the field. Bruce’s kind heart and generosity were an inspiration to his family. He lived his life with integrity and unwavering optimism.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 31 years, Charlene; daughter, Kristen; son, Erik; sister, Eva; and many loving nephews and extended family and friends.

Funeral services for Bruce will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at St. Peter’s Armenian Church.
