People here treated Luc Niro like family
To the editor:
To the people of Saranac Lake and the surrounding area, I would like to take a moment and thank you all.
Luc Niro, our bother, passed away on Feb. 19, 2013; since then we have all tried to understand how this could of happened. While this will linger in our thoughts, and our memories will be all that we hang onto, it is comforting to know that Luc was surrounded by so many good people, as witnessed by the turnout at his services. Luc had been a resident of Saranac Lake for 31 years. It appears he touched many people. We, his family, often spent time wondering how he was or how he was doing in Saranac Lake. It is now obvious Luc had another family, that being the people of this town. Luc’s family heard many stories, all of which we will hold onto.
We can now say Luc couldn’t have picked a better town to call home. The people of Saranac Lake are incredible and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you all so very much. You should all be proud to say you’re from Saranac Lake.
It wouldn’t be right to leave out Fortune-Keough Funeral Home; thank you as well.
