Invasive Species, Lemmon Drops at Will Rogers
SARANAC LAKE – New local band, Invasive Species, with special guests, The Lemmon Drops, will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday at Saranac Village at Will Rogers.
Invasive Species will soon be performing at many events in the North Country including the April 7 Battle of the Bands at the Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park.
Invasive Species is a progressive rock band from Saranac Lake. The group consists of Hudson Gray, frontman and lead guitarist; Travis Buck, instrumentalist of the electrified bass guitar; Dominique Santiago, additional singer, rhythm guitarist and clarinetist; Peter Curtis, supporting singer and trombonist and Cameron Czadzeck, drummer.
The Lemmon Drops are a band of four playing mostly original music written by Sarah Curtis (vocals and rhythm guitar) and Leo Brill (vocals and lead guitar). Barb Curtis plays upright bass and Russell Feher plays percussion. Their music is a blend of styles described as “indie” with strains of blues, pop, folk and rock.
