Gregory elected to state GFOA Board of Governors
ALBANY – The New York State Government Finance Officers’ Association Inc. has announced that Catherine Gregory, budget officer for the town of North Elba, was recently elected to her first term on the Association’s Board of Governors.
The election by the GFOA membership was conducted April 11 at the Association’s 34th annual conference at the Albany Marriott in Albany.
The GFOA, founded in 1979, is a nonprofit professional association of 1,000 members statewide.
The mission of GFOA is to strengthen the capacity of government finance professionals to manage public finances effectively and responsibly and to use the collective knowledge and expertise of its members for the public benefit by enhancing government efficiency and accountability throughout New York State.
