Adirondack Kids, Carousel team up

To the editor:

The Adirondack Carousel would like to thank the Tri-Lakes community for coming out this past weekend, Saturday, May 25, and celebrating a very successful first year of business with us.

We would like to thank Cake Placid for donating the beautifully decorated and very tasty birthday cakes, Merriloons the clown for wonderful face painting and the Van Ripers, who kicked off their newest book of the Adirondack Kids book series and signed many copies of “The Carousel Case, the Bicycle Race and the Black Fly Bad Guy.” The Adirondack Carousel was so pleased to offer free rides to our community and visitors as a gift for the generous support given this past year.

From more than 30,000 riders in just the summer months alone, we were able to greet a variety of people from all over the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia, just to name a few. Everyone who visits agrees, the Adirondack Carousel is the perfect addition to the “All-America City” of Saranac Lake.

If you missed the celebration this weekend, we still have plenty of signed copies of the Carousel mystery, book No. 13, in the Carousel gift shop, as well as a beautiful display of artwork from the 13 book covers on our gallery walls. Current Carousel hours are Saturdays and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and summer hours begin June 22, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week.
