‘Chasing Ice’ tonight at LPCA

LAKE PLACID – “Chasing Ice” is the story of one man’s mission to change the tide of history by gathering undeniable evidence of climate change.

Adirondack North Country Association staff will be on hand to talk about the work they’re doing across the region at 6:30 p.m. tonight, followed by the movie “Chasing Ice” at 7 p.m. at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts.

Richard Brandt, science manager of the Whiteface Mountain Observatory, will give an introduction to the film.
