Marianne Acquavella, 63, of Olive Street, Saranac Lake, died Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake following a short illness.
Born in Flushing on Feb. 28, 1950, she was the daughter of Francis and Veronica (Patnode) Acquavella.
Marianne had been employed as a floating postal clerk for the United States Postal Service.
She is survived by one sister, Eileen Orme and her husband Ian of Fort Collins, Colo.; three brothers: James Acquavella of Benton City, Wash., Richard Acquavella and his wife Nicky of Virginia Beach, Va., and Francis Acquavella and his wife Debra of Elmore City, Okla.; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. A graveside service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday July 29, at Merrillsville Cemetery in Loon Lake, with the Rev. Patrick O’Reilly officiating.
