The Met: Live in HD presents ‘The Nose’ at LPCA
The Lake Placid Center for the Arts will continue the winter Metropolitan Live in HD Series with Shostakovitch’s “The Nose” at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Tickets are $18 for adults, $16 for LPCA members and $12 for students 18 and under.

About “The Nose”
William Kentridge’s innovative production of Shostakovich’s The Nose, a popular and critical success when it premiered in 2010, returns to the Met for its first revival. Paulo Szotreprises his acclaimed interpretation of the leading role of Kovalyov, a hapless bureaucrat who awakes one morning to discover that his nose has run away. Andrey Popovreturns to the role of the Police Inspector and Alexander Lewis makes his company role debut as the peripatetic title character.
