Thank you, Jessica Deeb!
To the editor:
One of the wonderful things about growing up in an area like our own is the fantastic opportunities that our communities consistently provide for our children.
To this end, we would like to thank Jessica Deeb, personally and publicly, for all the hard work, dedication and commitment to the youth of our region through her direction of the Children’s Musical Theatre at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts for the past 25 years.
She has worked diligently time and again to offer some of the highest-quality musicals this area has seen. The children all work very hard with Jessica and her crew for two straight months prior to the first opening night to present their personal bests to the audience. This year’s play, “The Mad Adventures of Mr. Toad,” was Jessica’s last play as a director. We were fortunate to have had our daughter participate in three of her productions, where she shared her passion for theater and love for children at each and every rehearsal.
We simply cannot say enough to express our appreciation for all of her encouragement, teaching, patience, kindness and love that she has shown to our daughter, and to all of the children who have participated in the play.
