Chaz DePaolo returns with seven local shows
For anyone who enjoys a soulful voice, a seasoned and electric stage presence, and liquid guitar riffs then get ready, Chaz DePaolo leads a blues-trio that you will not soon forget.
He’ll perform in several area shows across all the Tri-Lakes towns.
He kicked off performances Wednesday at the Blue Moon Cafe and will continue his show at 7:30 p.m. tonight at P2’s Irish Lounge in Tupper Lake. On Friday, he’ll perform at 10 p.m. at Zig Zags in Lake?Placid. On Saturday, he’ll perform at noon at the food pantry benefit concert and continue on to the Cloudspin Lounge at Whiteface Mountain from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. He’ll then finishing up with a 10 p.m. showing at Zig Zags. Finally, on Sunday, he’ll be offering an acoustic show at 6 p.m. at Pan Dolce in Lake Placid.
DePaolo has a lot to be happy about. Inspired by legendary heroes like Albert King, Muddy Waters, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Jimi Hendrix, Chaz has also had the privilege of touring with blues icon Buddy Guy and has personally played to standing ovations in America, Canada, and Europe.
He’s been repeatedly asked to play as a featured artist at the annual Tribute to Jimi Hendrix Concert held at B.B. King’s Blues Club in New York City (2006, 2007, 2012) -?his rendition of “Voodoo Chile” will blow you away! One guitar company has made a Chaz DePaolo signature model guitar, and DePaolo’s records, “Flirtin’ With the Blues” and “Bluestopia,” are enjoying critical acclaim and popular success.
DePaolo also has a concert DVD available, “One Night Live in Iona, Pa., which was recorded in 2013.
He was honored in 2012 when his dedication paved the way for induction into the New York State Blues Hall of Fame.
