Cardiologist joins Adirondack Health
SARANAC LAKE – Adirondack Health is proud to welcome Dr. Anthony F. Tramontano, a leader in comprehensive cardiology care in the North Country since 2009.
Patients requiring cardiology care have access to a broad range of sophisticated services and treatment options at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.
Dr. Tramontano and his team provide the latest innovations in cardiac care and clinical therapies to patients with heart conditions. He will listen carefully to patient concerns to make an accurate diagnosis and then develop an individualized treatment plan.
“Having regular and consistent access to comprehensive, best-in-class cardiovascular care is important for residents in the Adirondack region and North Country,” said Dr. Tramontano. “In addition to the many tools we have to diagnose and treat heart disease, our program emphasizes the importance of prevention by promoting risk factor modification and healthy lifestyle changes for our patients.”
Dr. Tramontano is a familiar face in the North Country, having most recently provided cardiovascular care at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography, and fellowship trained in cardiology and advanced cardiovascular imaging. Dr. Tramontano received his medical training at St. George’s University School of Medicine, SUNY Downstate, Winthrop University Hospital and New York University.
