Blood drive Wednesday at local hospital
SARANAC LAKE – Adirondack Medical Center is hosting a blood drive from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday in the Redfield Board Room.
The medical center relies on blood collected locally to fill its medical needs.
Regional blood drives like this one help provide an adequate supply of blood to AMC for emergencies, planned surgeries and other procedures. Donating blood takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes, and the donor staff has more than 20 years of experience. The entire process includes registration, medical history and mini-physical, the donation and refreshments. Everyone is encouraged to stop by and donate on Wednesday; first-time donors are especially welcome.
To reserve a time slot, call Sue in the lab at 518-897-2359 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
