Students enjoy culinary training
SARANAC LAKE – Third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students have been enjoying cooking in After School Crafting Kids at St. Bernard’s School in Saranac?Lake. Crafting Kids meet one afternoon each week after school for a six-week session. During each session, children can choose from a variety of activities. Groups meet on different days throughout the six week period.
The January/February choices were cooking, crocheting and reading clubs.
This cooking group began with hors d’oeuvres and moved on through soup, main course and dessert.
This popular activity will be offered again in the March and April sessions with new recipes for the students to master.
