Skateboard park shouldn’t be a priority

Re: Saranac Lake village resources being spent on skateboard park
I read the article in the paper stating that the village board approved spending $100,000 for construction of the skateboard park that would benefit only a few.
I live in the village and pay village taxes. I feel there are many more needed items that need to be addressed, such as the serious drainage issue occurring from the Casier property above my place and making a skating rink of Grandview Terrace, repair and/or addition of sidewalks, continued work on infrastructure, supporting our fire department and police department, etc.
P.S.: Thank you, Tom Catillaz and Paul Van Cott, for trying to protect our tax money.
