Senate confirms Lamb to ORDA board

LAKE PLACID – Joe Lamb, president of Lamb Lumber in Lake Placid, was confirmed to the Olympic Regional Development Authorities board by the state Senate Friday morning, according to Daniel E. Mac Entee, the director of communication for Sen. Betty Little.

Lamb was appointment by the town of North Elba to replace James McKenna, the CEO of the Regional Office for Sustainable Tourism. McKenna stepped down from the appointment after a state ethics commission raised concerns about a possible conflict of interest that both the town and McKenna said was not an issue.
