SUNY Potsdam students named to president’s list

POTSDAM – The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named 861 students to the President’s List, in recognition of their academic excellence in the Spring 2014 semester. The SUNY Potsdam students were honored for earning top marks by Interim President Dr. Dennis L. Hefner.

The students included:

-Kayla Begor of Lake Placid, whose major is English and creative writing.

-Kailey Christy of Tupper Lake, NY, whose major is psychology.

-Mark Daby of Lake Placid, whose major is anthropology.

-Jeremy Florence of Saranac Lake, whose major is computer science.

-Kate Grisi of Saranac Lake, whose major is geology.

-Anthony Isabella of Saranac Lake, whose major is physics.

-Danielle LaMere of Tupper Lake, whose major is childhood/early childhood education.

-Chelsea Larkin of Tupper Lake, whose major is psychology.

-Marissa Meyer of Gabriels, whose major is sociology.

-Emma Miller of Vermontville, whose major is archaeological studies.

-Amanda Moeller of Tupper Lake, whose major is business administration (Bachelor of Science).

-Julia Murray of Saranac Lake, whose major is music performance.

-Nicole Nilsson of Tupper Lake, whose major is psychology.

-Sarah Parker of Vermontville, whose major is business administration (Bachelor of Science).

-Kelly Schmidt of Saranac Lake, NY, whose major is Sociology.

-Brenna Snyder of Bloomingdale, whose major is childhood/early childhood education.

-Alanna Winchell of Saranac Lake, whose major is music education.

To achieve the honor of being on the President’s List, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 numerically-graded semester hours, with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
