Beverly Bombard, 66, of Saranac Lake, died Friday, June 27, 2014 at St. Peter’s hospital in Albany surrounded by her family.
Born on May 26, 1948 in Riverview, she was the daughter of Clayton and Dorothy Wood.
Beverly was married to the former Paul Emile Poirier who died on Sept. 21, 1989. She then married Marvin Edward Bombard who died July 15, 2009.
She is survived by two sons: Paul Poirier and his wife Grace of Rhoadesville, Virginia and Michael Poirier of Saranac Lake; two grandchildren: Laura and Paul Poirier of Rhoadesville, Virginia; four sisters: Darlene Wood of Saranac Lake, Rachel Snow and her husband Robert of Randolph, Massachusetts, Tina Wood and her husband James Theriault of Saranac Lake, Pamela Denis and husband Henry of Tupper Lake; four brothers: Rocky Wood of Redford, Barry Wood and his wife Beverly of Beekmantown, Barton Wood and his companion Betty Disotell of Plattsburgh, Danny Wood and his wife Carla of Tupper Lake; and several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by her two husbands; five brothers: Ned, Ted, Randy Leo, Steve; and one sister Cindy Sorrell.
Beverly was an avid bingo player and will be greatly missed by all.
Calling hours are scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 1 at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Tupper Lake. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
