Bryan T. Callaghan
ALBANY – Bryan T. Callaghan, 63, died at his home in Colonie on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, after a long illness.
He was born in Saranac Lake, the son of George “Vincent” and Kathryn M. Otis Callaghan and was a graduate of St. Pius X High School. He attended Syracuse University. He was a self-employed contractor and remodeled businesses and homes in the Albany area and in Lewis County.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping in Maine.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Bridget and Corey Boyd of Rotterdam; one son, Bryan of Latham; one granddaughter, Cassidy Callaghan; two brothers and two sisters-in-law: Harold, Robert and Sandy, all of Lake Clear, and Jeanne Callaghan of Port Leyden; two sisters and two brothers-in-law: Anita and Dan Boliver of Clovis, New Mexico and Ruth and Peter Drechsler of Scotia; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father Vincent and his mother and step-father, Kathryn and Leo Cummings, and two brothers: Stephen and James.
Private graveside services will be held in Lake Clear at the convenience of the family.
