Arts grant applicants must attend seminar

BLUE MOUNTAIN LAKE – The Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts is disbursing cultural arts decentralization grants with the New York State Council on the Arts annual re-grant program in four counties: Clinton, Essex, Franklin and Hamilton.

Grants are available for nonprofit and cultural organizations in the counties, and to teaching artists partnering with local schools.

The public seminars are free to attend and come with no commitment. To apply for funding, applicants must attend a seminar or schedule consultation with the grant coordinator.

The one seminar in the Tri-Lakes area is the first on the schedule: 4 p.m. today at BluSeed Studios, 24 Cedar St., Saranac Lake.

Thursday, Sept. 4, Lake Pleasant Town Hall, Lake Pleasant, 2 p.m.
