Paul Smith’s College names students to spring dean’s list

PAUL SMITHS – The following area students were named to the dean’s list at Paul Smith’s College during the spring 2014 semester. Each earned a semester average of 3.3 or higher to receive this distinction:

Jeffrey Bigelow of Willsboro, who is majoring in parks, recreation and facilities management.

Benjamin Bishop of Saranac Lake, who is majoring in parks, recreation and facilities management.

Mark Calderone of Paul Smiths, who is majoring in forestry.

Sarah Desrosier of Paradox, who is majoring in integrative studies.

Christopher Griffin of Gabriels, who is majoring in culinary arts and service management. Griffin was also named an Adirondack Scholar, having achieved a cumulative average of at least 3.8.

Hannah Huber of Rainbow Lake, who is majoring in integrative studies. Huber was also named an Adirondack Scholar, having achieved a cumulative average of at least 3.8.

Robbie Lalonde of Tupper Lake, who is majoring in surveying technology.

Jennifer McGinn of Elizabethtown, who is majoring in baking and pastry arts.

Ryan Nerp of Gabriels, who is majoring in recreation, adventure travel and ecotourism. Nerp was also named an Adirondack Scholar, having achieved a cumulative average of at least 3.8.

Patrick Odell of Keene Valley, who is majoring in natural resources management and policy.

Derek Osgood of Saranac Lake, who is majoring in natural resources management and policy.

Sean Patton of Lake Clear, who is majoring in biology.

Matthew Pelkey of Lake Clear, who is majoring in business management and entrepreneurial studies.

Alaina Simons of Paul Smiths, who is majoring in natural resource sustainability.

Jacob Sporn of Bloomingdale, who is majoring in business management and entrepreneurial studies. Sporn was also named an Adirondack Scholar, having achieved a cumulative average of at least 3.8.

Desiree Stumpf of Chateaugay, who is majoring in fisheries and wildlife sciences.

Shelby Treadwell of Saranac Lake, who is majoring in business management and entrepreneurial studies.

Richard Tryder of Tupper Lake, who is majoring in parks, recreation and facilities management.

Michael Tuthill of Vermontville, who is majoring in recreation, adventure travel and ecotourism.

Marjorie Waterson of Lake Placid, who is majoring in hotel, resort and tourism management. Waterson was also named an Adirondack Scholar, having achieved a cumulative average of at least 3.8.

Lisa Zvingowaniseyi of Paul Smiths, who is majoring in hotel, resort and tourism management. Zvingowaniseyi was also named an Adirondack Scholar, having achieved a cumulative average of at least 3.8.
